Kanade’s scene was almost a bit ridiculous just because of SO MUCH BLOOD, but the scene after that is still pretty frightening. That said, (it’s probably too late by now for most of you but) if you’re easily squicked out by lots of blood, be wary of this episode.
I’m not easily squicked by gore, but both Kanade’s and Tsubasa’s scenes were really disconcerting. The new girl reveals that she’s here to capture Hibiki and immobilizes her. This gives her greater powers than both Tsubasa and Hibiki and allows her to summon Noise. The new girl appears to be wearing a relic named Nehushtan, which is an unbroken relic. Obviously, their friendship didn’t last long… New girl's outfit looks a little less ridiculous when we don't see her underboobs-no wait, it still looks ridiculous.īack in the present, Tsubasa and the new girl fight. After earning her symphogear through blood (literally), she and Tsubasa became close friends in their fight against the Noise. Kanade wasn’t initially compatible with the relic fragments, but was eventually able to master one due to sheer force of will. We get a brief flashback to when Tsubasa first met Kanade.
